OFFICIAL PRESS KIT - 2026

Forget everything you know about the accordion. This is different.
Not a cover act. A full-on deconstruction.
KRAYL is the project of Italian musician Carmine Turilli — a one-man technological force who drags the accordion out of its folk-music comfort zone and drops it into the brutalist crossroads of Industrial-Cyberpunk rock, distortion pedals, and festival-grade energy.
Where most artists cover songs, KRAYL demolishes them and rebuilds from scratch. An AC/DC riff becomes a dancefloor weapon. An Iron Maiden anthem morphs into an electro-rock spectacle. Led Zeppelin epics are stripped to their bones and reconstructed with the accordion as the loudest, strangest instrument in the room.
Drawn in the same tradition as David Garrett and 2CELLOS — artists who took “serious” classical instruments and made them viscerally exciting — KRAYL occupies a niche that no one else has claimed: the rebel accordion.
On stage: a custom steampunk costume, guitar distortion pedals on the accordion, synthesizers, digital piano, and a performer who plays every note live — no pre-recorded accordion, ever.

— What they say about KRAYL
VINCE TEMPERA - Composer & International Conductor
“His rock accordion is absolutely electric, packed with mind-blowing virtuosity… you need to hear it, or better yet, see it live to truly feel the vibe of his music.”
Virginia Barrett – Director & TV Actress
“Shoutout to my absolute favorite accordionist! His smile alone is enough to light up the room, but the moment his fingers hit the keys, the magic begins. It’s pure medicine for the soul for anyone looking to lift their spirits.”
AUSILIA MINASI - Artist & Poet
“…He is superlative live—so engaging and bursting with energy! He’s completely revolutionized the accordion. I never thought I’d enjoy accordion in rock music… but he pulls it off flawlessly. A true game-changer! Fantastic!”
EMMA P. - Fan
From the first note, it's a riot.
The KRAYL live set is a full-sensory assault. Whether it’s an intimate 300-seat club or the main stage of a festival, the Rebel Accordion commands the room from the opening chord.
Iconic rock riffs are reborn through the distorted accordion, then massive dance-floor drops hit the crowd at exactly the right moment. The setlist travels from AC/DC to Led Zeppelin, Queen to Michael Jackson — every track reinvented, never just replicated. Cinematic moments breathe between the explosions. The energy never plateaus.
100% live — no pre-recorded accordion. Every note is played in real time.
